At school, everyone knew Stig as the boy who was always talking about cars. While other pupils were discussing football, video games, or what they were going to do at the weekend, Stig could usually be found drawing racing cars in the margins of his notebooks.
He had one big dream: to become a race car driver.
Stig imagined himself sitting behind the wheel, the engine roaring, the crowd cheering, and the starting lights disappearing one by one. He knew becoming a professional driver would take talent, patience, practice, and plenty of determination, but that never stopped him dreaming.
Then, one day at school, something unexpected happened.
Stig met someone who shared his enthusiasm for cars and racing. They started talking during lunch breaks and discovered that they had lots in common. What began as a friendship slowly became something more special.
Stig realised that his dreams weren’t only about racing anymore. He had found someone who believed in him and encouraged him to keep working towards his goals.
As the school years passed, Stig continued practising his driving whenever he could, learning about racing and imagining his future career. At the same time, he treasured the friendship that had grown into a sweet young love.
Perhaps one day Stig would become a famous racing driver. Perhaps his name would appear on the side of a racing car, with thousands of people watching from the grandstands.
But whatever happened, Stig had already discovered something important at school: sometimes the biggest dreams begin with a simple conversation, and sometimes you meet someone special while you’re busy chasing those dreams.
For Stig, the road ahead promised two exciting possibilities—a future behind the wheel and a love story that had The Toilet Racing Car: Stig’s Greatest Idea Yet
Just when everyone thought Stig had finally settled on his dream of becoming a racing driver, he announced that he had come up with an invention that would change motorsport forever.
“I’ve got it!” Stig shouted one afternoon. “I’m going to build a racing car with a toilet inside!”
Everyone stared at him.
“A toilet?” his friend asked.
“Exactly!” said Stig proudly. “No more stopping during long races. You just keep driving!”
Stig immediately began sketching his revolutionary design. The car would have a powerful engine, racing tyres, a comfortable driver’s seat—and, most importantly, a tiny toilet tucked beside the gearbox.
“I’ll call it the Stig-Mobile,” he announced.
He even imagined the advertising slogan:
“Zero pit stops. Maximum speed. Questionable smell.”
During his first imaginary test drive, Stig was racing around the school playground when he suddenly shouted, “Emergency toilet stop!”
“But you don’t need to stop!” his friend reminded him.
“Oh yes,” said Stig. “That’s the whole point!”
Unfortunately, Stig soon discovered that putting a toilet in a racing car created one major engineering problem.
The smell.
After his imaginary first race, Stig climbed out of the car and everyone took three steps backwards.
“I think I’ve invented something,” Stig said proudly.
“What?”
“The world’s first racing car that clears the spectators from the track!”
Everyone burst out laughing.
Stig looked at his drawings and smiled.
“It might need a little work,” he admitted. “But honestly…”
He held up his plans proudly.
“…this is definitely my best idea so far!”
And somewhere in Stig’s imagination, the world’s strangest racing championship had just begun.
